Lecturer in Horology

The School of Jewellery is the largest in Europe, based in the heart of Birmingham’s thriving Jewellery Quarter since 1890 the school has achieved the highest national and global reputation across its PhD, MA, BA, BSC and HND courses.

The successful applicant for this 0.8 role will primarily teach on our BA Hons Horology course, and /or across the school, as required. Your teaching activities will be further enhanced by your contribution to research, enterprise and scholarship

Skilled Horologist/Watchmaker

H Robers & Sons (Dial Indicators) Ltd and LV Metrology Ltd are looking to recruit a Skilled Horologist/Watchmaker as part of our repairs and specials department following two recent retirements.

We are seeking a skilled watchmaker who is looking for a new challenge. Responsibilities will include repairing Dial Indicators, Calipers, Micrometeres and similar metrology tools. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and repairing equipment.

Clock Repairer - Ludlow, Shropshire

A vacancy has arisen for a clock repairer to look after the stock in our Ludlow shop, which mainly comprises English and French clocks.

Work will include setting up, adjusting and regular winding. There will also be some house calls to set up customers' clocks.
